Springbok Competition 2026 - Terms and Conditions

Virgin Active Members who have downloaded the Virgin Active App (“Virgin Active App Members”) who train between 08 July 2026 and 16 August 2026 (both days inclusive) (“the Competition Period”) will stand a chance to win two tickets to see The Springboks take on The All Blacks live at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on 05 September 2026.

The full prize package includes (“the Prize”):

2 (Two) tickets to the match taking place on 05 September 2026 for you and your chosen friend/partner/family member (“your Friend”);

1 (One) suite (i.e., one room) accommodation in Johannesburg arranged and paid for by Virgin Active, from 04 September 2026 to 06 September 2026 (both days inclusive) for you and your Friend to share; 

2 (Two) official Springboks rugby jerseys; 

R10,000 (Ten Thousand Rand) spending money, in total; and 

Return flights for winners residing outside of Gauteng. 

Virgin Active App Members can gain competition entries into the lucky draw by meeting their weekly visits goals during the Competition Period (from midnight on 08 July 2026 until 23:59 on 16 August 2026), as follows: 

Entries into the lucky draw are only unlocked via the Virgin Active App. 

Entries are unlocked via the Virgin Active App from your weekly rewards pool once you achieve your weekly visit’s goal for that week (Monday to Sunday): 

A maximum of one visit is counted daily per day.

The participation criteria are as follows: 

You must be a Member of Virgin Active 

You must have downloaded the Virgin Active App; 

You must be 18 (Eighteen) years (*see below); and 

You must live in South Africa;

You must have earned your entry/ies from your weekly reward(s) via the Virgin Active App.

Food, transport and other expenses are excluded. The Prize does not include any food, beverages, transport to and from the FNB Stadium (or otherwise), or any other expenses incurred by yourself or your Friend at all. 

The lucky draw winner will be drawn by Virgin Active, at its sole direction, whose decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into or entertained, at all.

The lucky draw winner will be contacted via email directly by 12h00 on 17 August 2026. 

If the email address provided is not valid, Virgin Active will make 3 (Three) attempts to contact the lucky draw winner. All attempts to contact the winner will be made by email or phone and any other means of contact that Virgin Active has available at the time, at its sole discretion. If there is still no response from the lucky draw winner, then Virgin Active will be compelled to pick a new lucky draw winner. The subsequent lucky draw winner will then be contacted in the same manner, and so on. 

This Prize may not be transferred, substituted, on-sold or exchanged for cash.

All participants’ personal information will be processed in accordance with prevailing South African data protection legislation, as well as in accordance with Virgin Active’s Privacy Policy (available on the Virgin Active website) and by participating in this competition you consent to such processing. 

*No Prize will be awarded to any person to whom such prize may not be legally awarded including, but not limited to, minors under the age of 18 (Eighteen) years. For avoidance of any doubt, you and your Friend must be 18 (Eighteen) years old or older at midnight on 16 August 2026. 

This competition may be terminated or extended at any time by Virgin Active at their sole discretion or if circumstances arise outside its control. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive (give up) any rights they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they have no claim of any kind against Virgin Active, their participating partners or their promotional agents.

The Prize may not be awarded if the above-mentioned participation criteria and / or these terms and conditions as set out above have not been adhered to, and / or if Virgin Active detects and/or suspects any irregularities or fraudulent practices.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
